The unchanging mandate of Jesus' church is to make disciples of all nations. Our mission is the same. To inspire for influence.

What we want to do

If vision is what we want to see, then "mission" is what we want to do. As individuals we are called to love God with everything we are and have (Great Commandment). And as a part of Jesus' Church, we are called to make disciples of all nations (Great Commission). This is what He wants us to do.

Fishers of men?

Jesus told his first two followers (Peter & Andrew) that they would no longer be fishermen but instead "fishers of men". Immediately they understood that Jesus was inviting them to stop catching fish and to start profoundly capturing men's hearts with the gospel. Their response to Jesus changed the world!

Two words that are rooted in Scripture and which resonate with us are inspiring and influencing. These two words form our mission statement:

Inspiring for influence

To inspire someone literally means to "put the breath of God into". It is to bring the gospel and it is to encourage. We believe the best way to inspire someone is to say what God would say.

The result of "inspiration" is influence. To influence someone is to have a "powerful and positive effect on a person's life." Having a profound godly effect on someone's life is extending God's Kingdom (the King's domain). We believe the best way to do this is by serving. Serving others is earning the right to be heard.
