God works in and through His people. At Gateway we believe that good leadership is essential for life and mission.

Leadership is key 

At Gateway we believe that "everything rises and falls on leadership". This is why Jesus spent three years training, serving and inspiring twelve men to be leaders. It was to these men that He entrusted the gospel and the kingdom. Their mandate was to "go into all the world and to make disciples of all nations…" We carry this same mandate today. 


Inspiration and Influence

At Gateway, we define leaders as men and women of influence and inspiration. To inspire someone literally means to "put the words of God into". And to influence someone is to have a powerful and positive effect on that person's life.  

Speaking and Serving

We believe that the best way to inspire and influence is by speaking and serving:


"If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. 
If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ." (1 Peter 4:11 NIV)  

To change the world for God and for good, we need authentic anointed leaders who inspire and influence those around them.
